Alli Review - Do Alli Diet Pills Work?
What is in Alli Diet Pills? Like Xenical, Alli contains the drug Orlistat, a powerful fat-blocker. The difference between Alli and Xenical is that Alli contains half the Orlistat, which is why the pill was approved by the FDA. What does Orlistat do? It blocks fats from entering your body, and removes them from your system (more on that in a second). Who is Alli for? I was curious about Alli, since most other pills that I review don't contain fat-blockers. What's the difference with this drug, and who is it designed for? In a nutshell, Alli is made for people who want to eat fatty foods and get away with it. This is a rather bizarre premise, since it means that Alli is mainly for people with unhealthy diets. Obviously you don't want your system to block healthy fats, but that's exactly what Orlistat does. So even before investigating the product, I was already very skeptical of Alli, and the skepticism increased as I learned more. I cannot stress this enough -- the only purpose of diet supplements is to support your exercise and diet plan. Nothing else. They're a helper, not the whole program. What are the Side Effects of Alli? Here's where things get a little bit gross. Where does the blocked fat go? The answer -- in the toilet. There are horror stories all over the Internet of Alli users who had sudden, explosive attacks of diarrhea. I don't want to dwell on this too much, but it's the main side effect, and it's an important one to know. This happened to people who continued to eat unhealthy, fatty foods while taking Alli. Other side effects included bad gas and cramping. Alli users actually buy dark brown pants, and carry extra ones with them. This is not a joke. LIST A COUPLE HORROR STORIES HERE Does Alli Work? Conclusion and Advice Well, even with all the negatives, the answer to this is yes. Fat does get blocked, and many do lose a bit of weight. If your diet is otherwise healthy, but you want to eat at McDonalds once in awhile, Alli will help you clear that fat from your system. My recommendation would be to choose a fat burner rather than a fat blocker, but if you are aware of the side effects, Alli can help you drop a couple pounds. |
